Curt Harlow has spent almost three decades successfully planting campus ministries on some of America’s hardest to reach university and college campuses. You’d think all that time on campus would turn him into a boring egghead – nothing could be further than from the truth.  Curt communicates in a hilarious style that will make you laugh hard and then think even harder. Most of all, he will challenge you to find grace inspired ways to apply truth in everyday life.  Along with reaching college students, Curt has worked closely with many local church on strategic development, effective outreach and raising up next generation leaders. Recently Curt transitioned out of his role as West Coast Area Director for Chi Alpha Campus Ministries to work with Bayside Church of Granite Bay as teaching pastor and leadership development facilitator. He has been married to Kelly his graphic designer wife and partner in ministry for 29 years. they have three children, Jesse 19, Maddy 14 and Emma 10.

Amy Hauck

Johnny and Amy Hauck met at Sam Houston State University in 2001 while pursuing their undergraduate degrees in Construction Management and English respectively (hey opposites attract, right?). They met on a climbing trip that some Chi Alpha students organized and began to date later that year. After a few years, Johnny proposed to Amy, and they were married on January 1, 2005. Post-graduation they served as resource leaders under the direction of Eli and Mary Gautreaux and were sent out by XA at SHSU to plant Chi Alpha at the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2008. As they began full time ministry in San Antonio, Amy began graduate school, completed her degree in May 2011, and is currently a Professor of English and Writing at UT San Antonio. Johnny was a homebuilder before entering full time ministry and now directs a growing XA staff at UT San Antonio. He is interested in innovative and practical ways to serve surrounding churches and ministries in their city and beyond. Both Johnny and Amy are passionate about working proactively to build the Kingdom of God through discipleship.

The Haucks are in the middle of their fourth year on the University campus and think that campus ministry is the bomb-dot-com. The rest of their family is comprised of a precious daughter named Haven with crazy red hair, a parakeet named Nori, and a lizard named Spoke. Johnny loves to ride BMX, Amy enjoys reading, and Haven is an avid trampoline-jumper. Most of all, the Lord has given them wonderful friends and family that are the some of the dearest treasures they have. They look forward to many more years of campus ministry until Jesus comes back.
